A good laugh overcomes more difficulties and dissipates more dark clouds than any other one thing.

Choose Joy
This is the Life
My Family

I first found out about Laughter Yoga while working at a hospital in Washington State. It was a fun and unique activity introduced to us as part of a team-building exercise for the unit. Along with the child-like playfulness, I loved the concept of laughing without jokes, humor, or comedy. Through Laughter yoga, I discovered an enjoyable and exciting way to step out of my shell and connect with my co-workers.

Fast forward twelve years, and I am proud to say that I am a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader and Choice Coach. Choosing to laugh on purpose daily reminds me that I can BE happy if I choose to BE.

It has taken a long time to get to a state of happiness and peace because the past twelve years have not been as pleasant as you can imagine. I lost my best friend, grandfather, other friends, and family members. However, it was my husband's Cancer diagnosis that made me feel sad, heartbroken, frustrated, and everything in between. The diagnosis made me feel like all the happiness and joy in my life would be depleted in months.

As fate would have it, I purchased and finished the Laughter Yoga course before we knew about my husband's diagnosis. I chose to complete the training just a few weeks before the doctor diagnosed him with acute myeloid leukemia (AML).

I cried for weeks and months. Eventually, I stopped meditating, and I stopped laughing. While in front of my husband I did my best to remain positive and strong, but behind closed doors I was slowly drifting into a state of depression. Then fate stepped in again, and I was invited to facilitate a Laughter Yoga session at an event in Saint Mary's, GA. I chose to say YES. I started practicing, and during my practice, I noticed how the sadness and negative thoughts were starting to ease up. Light was creeping in again. Hope was returning and my faith was no longer in question.

Choosing Laughter Yoga is one of the best decisions I made, because it pulled me out of a dark place, and I am grateful for it. Everyday I wake-up, I get to choose if my day is going to good, bad, productive or not. Guess what friend - so do you.

This is my purpose driven life.

My goal is to inspire others to change from within-to help you transform, heal, and cultivate a human experience that is good for your body, mind, and soul.

My Mission is to support others on their journey to choosing joy, laughter, love, and the most important person in the world...themselves.

I believe when you choose you, you will live an abundant and fulfilling life. When you choose you, everyone benefits.

I offer two unique ways transform your life and discover who you were created to be.

If you would like to make laughter a practice in your life, I invite you to join me for my FREE monthly Laughter Yoga Club, the first Saturday of the month, beginning at 10 am online.
